What are the responsibilities and job description for the QMHP - Intensive In-Home Counselor position at Team Services llc?
- Must be registered with the Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-C or QMHP-T with experience providing mental health services to youth. LMHP-R/S candidates are also encouraged to apply with higher negotiable pay rate.
- Responsible for providing short-term interventions to youth with emotional or behavioral disturbance that places them at risk for out of home placement.
- Ability to build therapeutic relationships with children and families
- Provide care coordination to other providers supports of the child and family
- Provide services for a caseload of 2-5 individuals
- Strong clinical and professional boundaries
- Ability to focus on outcomes and individualized care
- Ability to coordinate with various service providers, insurance companies and family members to achieve positive outcomes and prevent the individual's risk for hospitalization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Participation in monthly clinical supervision
- Submission of progress note, quarterly report and other clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Respond to crisis calls 24/7 for assigned clients
