Powersports Part-Time Lot Technician

Team Winnebagoland, located in Oshkosh, WI, is seeking a motivated Power Sports Lot Technician to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and functionality of our lot and inventory, ensuring that our customers and team members have a seamless experience. The ideal candidate should have a passion for power sports, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional service.

Lot & Inventory Management:

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the dealership lot and showroom.
• Prepare new and used units for display, ensuring they are clean, fueled, and visually appealing.
• Assist with receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming inventory.
• Ensure proper placement and arrangement of units for an optimal customer experience.

Customer Service & Support:

• Assist customers by moving units to designated areas for viewing or pickup.
• Deliver outstanding service by answering questions about unit handling and basic maintenance.
• Provide assistance during special events, promotions, and customer demonstrations.

Technical Support & Maintenance:

• Perform minor maintenance and pre-delivery inspections on units, including cleaning, fueling, and checking for mechanical readiness.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a clean and organized manner.
• Support service technicians by delivering parts, moving vehicles, or assisting with larger tasks as needed.

Operational Efficiency:

• Ensure all inventory is properly tagged, accounted for, and logged into the dealership’s system.
• Monitor and report any damage or discrepancies with incoming or existing inventory.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and standards, ensuring a safe environment for customers and employees.

Expectations:

• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while representing Team Winnebagoland.
• Collaborate effectively with sales, service, and other departments to support dealership operations.
• Be proactive in identifying and addressing operational needs to keep the lot and inventory in top condition.

Requirements:

• Passion for power sports and knowledge of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other recreational vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor conditions as needed.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
• Night and Weekend Availability REQUIRED
