What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-Home Clinician (LSW/LAC) position at teamup-counseling?
Company Overview: TeamUP Counseling provides intensive clinical & therapeutic services to young people with developmental disabilities. The Master's Level Clinician has a provisional LSW or LAC licensure and is responsible to address the emotional and behavioral needs of a young person with developmental disabilities. Sessions are offered within the home or community setting where the youth resides. Sessions are typically held after school, evenings and/or weekends. The schedule is created mutually between the family and the clinician. Clinical supervision towards licensure is included.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home therapy sessions with a young person and family
- Complete and implement the individual treatment plan
- Document weekly progress notes
- Collaborate with other involved professionals
- Participate in child & family team meeting
Qualifications:
- 1 year minimum experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Previous experience working in home, preferred
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field
- Active NJ license (LCSW, LPC), required
Requirements:
- Must undergo a criminal background check
- TB test
- CPR certification, preferred
