Mortgage Loan Officer--Merrillville
CU Mortgage Service is looking for a savvy Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential mortgages and refinance home loans through our in-house mortgage company. We hire professionals who are committed to delivering an exceptional Member service experience and making dreams come true.
Our Mortgage Loan Officers enjoy having office space inside our Tech Credit Union branches where spontaneous conversations with our Members can uncover leads. They thrive in the CU Mortgage Service team environment.

CU Mortgage Services, a subsidiary of Tech Credit Union, is a successful mortgage provider serving Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland communities for nearly 30 years.
As the Mortgage Loan Officer for our Tech Credit Union Merrillville Branch, you will:
- Work with credit union Members to ensure they are receiving the best first and refinance mortgage loans available to them. Our mortgage programs include new construction, Freddie/Fannie and First Responder/Teacher
- Provide expert-level mortgage knowledge to our Members
- Develop relationships with branch staff, realtors, and a network of other business associations to generate loans
- Provide expert guidance and excellent customer service throughout the lending process
Qualifications
The ideal Mortgage Loan Officer will have
- 2 years of experience originating residential mortgage loans
- Proven experience in developing a successful referral market
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Expert knowledge of current regulations and lending guidelines
