Human Resources Assistant

Responsible for pre-employment screenings to include background and reference checks. 

Assists with new hire onboarding and assimilation.  

Conducts interviews for associate-level employees.  

Reports new hires to state and federal governments 

Processes personnel actions to Payroll. 

Processes employment verifications. 

Assists with special HR projects (salary surveys, position descriptions, HR-related research). 

Attends weekly meetings. 

Monitors department email account; addresses employee questions and forwards emails to other HR team members as necessary.   

0-2 years progressive Human Resources experience. 

Dedication to TRI team and customer service values with a strong emphasis on responsiveness, professionalism and diplomacy.

Proficient in both verbal and written communication.

Capable of working independently as well as within a team.

Skilled at time-management and multi-tasking to meet deadlines and achieve deliverables.

Experienced in safeguarding highly confidential information.
