About The Role
We are seeking an Office Engineer to support a high-profile transportation infrastructure project in New York’s Hudson Valley region. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoys being at the center of project coordination, documentation, and compliance. You will join a collaborative project team supporting critical roadway and infrastructure improvements, with the opportunity to continue onto additional upcoming projects following the completion of this assignment.
This is an approximately one-year assignment with strong potential for long-term placement across future infrastructure programs in the region.

What You'll Do
- Support day-to-day project administration for an active transportation infrastructure construction project
- Prepare, review, and process daily reports, pay applications, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
- Maintain accurate and well-organized project documentation, correspondence, and records
- Track quantities, schedules, and cost-related documentation to support project controls
- Coordinate with inspectors, engineers, contractors, and project management staff to ensure timely information flow
- Utilize the client’s construction management systems to track approvals, documentation, and project data
- Assist with compliance tracking in accordance with contract documents and public-sector requirements
- Prior experience supporting New York State transportation infrastructure projects
- Hands-on experience using NYSDOT Site Manager
- Familiarity with NYSDOT construction standards, procedures, and documentation requirements
- NICET Level III certification or a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced construction environment Prior experience on roadway, highway, or bridge projects strongly preferred
