Google Cloud Microsoft Windows Amazon Web Services Continuous Integration / Delivery Source Code Control Terraform Linux Azure Cloud Services Position will be a member of the Cloud Services Product Group within Enterprise Technology Services, as a Platform Engineer, with an initial focus on either private cloud service delivery or the delivery of infrastructure solutions running across both public (AWS, GCP and Azure) and private cloud environments, supporting the consolidation of five operating companies on-premise infrastructure services with an emphasis on leveraging infrastructure as code to provide application hosting services.
In addition to the technical competencies outlined in the job description, the ideal candidate will have experience with at least a subset of the following :
- automation of infrastructure delivery with configuration orchestration and management solutions (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Gitlab)
- understanding of coding practices and developing in a preferred scripting language (e.g. PowerShell, Python, UNIX Shell Scripting)
- experience with Operating System hardening practices as well as methodologies for templating deployments from a set of standardized images
- experience with Linux and Windows systems engineering principles
- experience with Infrastructure and Application logging practices and platforms
- supporting the migration of applications to and between public cloud providers (AWS, GCP or Azure) and / or the securing of public cloud providers for application service delivery
