JHNA Technology Security is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support our government customer at NAS Patuxent River, MD. We are looking for an experienced and technically competent Cyber Security Analyst to work on a Systems Security Engineering team that manages projects spanning a variety of security levels for a government program office.
Duties:
- Provide cyber security analysis support to the DPM, Functional Leads and IPT Leads for a major DoD Acquisition Program.
- Work with planners to facilitate cyber security plans of action incorporation into the Program Integrated Master Schedule.
- Review, assess, and implement Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) requirements and determine the appropriate impact levels of the classified system.
- Assist Systems Security Team in the research and tracking of potential security threats & vulnerabilities in order to identify and develop remediation plans.
Required:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering with Computer Option and Information Assurance or similar technical related field.
- 3 years of progressive professional experience in Information Assurance or related field.
- 4-15 years of experience.
- Experience in implementing proprietary and classified information according to Navy directives.
- Experience with implementing Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) requirements and maintaining the appropriate impact levels of the classified system.
- Experience with developing and maintaining Risk Management Framework documentation.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Security certificate required.
- Active TS Clearance
- This position will require the ability to travel 4-6 times/year for one week intervals (CONUS).
