What are the responsibilities and job description for the Privacy Analyst position at TechOp Solutions International?

TechOp Solutions International is seeking a Privacy Analyst to join our team. As a Privacy Analyst, you will support our clients in ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and best practices. You will conduct assessments, analyze privacy risks, and provide recommendations to mitigate those risks and enhance privacy protection measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct privacy assessments and inspections to evaluate compliance with privacy laws, regulations, and policies
  • Analyze privacy impact assessments and develop reports outlining findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with the privacy team to develop and implement training and awareness programs
  • Stay updated on the latest privacy regulations and industry best practices
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on privacy-related matters
  • Assist in developing and maintaining privacy policies and procedures
  • Must be proficient in completing research and writing
  • Candidates will have a demonstrated background in completing PTAs, PIA, SORNs, and additional privacy documents as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in privacy analysis or a related role
  • Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Privacy certification (e.g., CIPP) is preferred
  • US citizenship is required
