Project Controls Specialist

Your Opportunity:

As a full-time project controls specialist for TechSource you will support Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) to deliver a new National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) flash X-ray radiography capability at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS). This radiography capability is a multi-pulse linear induction accelerator, nicknamed Scorpius, to be commissioned at the NNSS.

You will support and backup the scheduler, support the Cost Account Manager (CAM), and ensure procurements are moving forward. You will also identify project risks and create weekly project reports to management.

What You Will Do:

· Support and backup the P6 scheduler.

· Develop advanced procurement plans for all critical procurements.

· Identify, document, and manage project risks.

· Create weekly project reports for management.

What You Will Need:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history.

· 3 or more years of project controls work experience.

· Proficiency using Primavera 6 (P6).

· Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems.

· Strong organizational and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

· Excellent customer relationship skills.

· Ability to work in a team environment and a strong desire to continuously learn.
