We’re hiring a Global Accounting Manager for a well-established international manufacturing organization. Phoenix-area residency is required (local candidates only).

What you’ll do
- Serve as a key resource on US GAAP technical accounting, especially for non-routine or complex transactions
- Support accounting needs across global operations/factory locations and help ensure policy consistency across regions
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and close support deliverables
- Analyze balance sheet and P&L activity; create clear variance/flux explanations and reporting for leadership
- Prepare and review reporting that feeds both internal management reporting and external financial statements
- Evaluate customer and supplier agreements and determine the appropriate accounting treatment under GAAP and internal policy
- Provide timely, decision-ready insights for the executive team
- Help maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and controls
- Drive close process improvements (efficiency, accuracy, standardization)
- Build and lead a small team (hire, mentor, develop)
What we’re looking for (required)
- Bachelor’s in Accounting
- CPA required
- 5 years experience in public accounting (public clients) and/or a large publicly traded company environment
- Strong technical accounting capability under US GAAP (including revenue-related topics)
- Experience with SOX/internal controls
- High accuracy, strong ownership, and ability to manage competing deadlines
Nice to have
- Exposure to global entities / international accounting environments
- Manufacturing background
- ERP experience (SAP preferred; Oracle also valuable)
