Job Summary
This position has responsibility and authority to perform all machinist functions. Manufacture production and/or prototype devices/articles/customer products using manual and/or CNC/NC machine tools mill, lathe and EDM applying industry standard machine tool techniques ensuring that the customer product requirements and Tegra Medical requirements are met while meeting the requirements of the quality policy and quality objective of Tegra Medical ISO 13485 quality management system.
Role and Responsibilities
Perform job assignments on manual and/or CNC/NC machines.
Perform manual machine operations including set-up & tool selection on conventional lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses and various other standard shop equipment.
CNC machine operations include setting-up and producing products on CNC/NC machines with machine adjustments as necessary.
Responsible for production of quality products including inspect, measure, test and de-burr manufactured components/assemblies.
Responsible for following Quality Policy, all quality system requirements and procedures/work instructions as well as any additional customer requirements.
Responsible for Quality Objectives results of his/her work assignment area.
Responsible for following company safety and environmental procedures/practices
May perform and or assist in scheduled preventive maintenance.
May assist in training Machine Operators.
Performs other tasks and follow written/verbal direction from supervisor or manager
Perform non-routine task assigned by supervisor
Qualification Requirements:

. Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of 3 5 years of machinist experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements:
Reading and writing ability
Frequent communication of data
Ability to read/interpret blueprints
Ability to use most precision measuring tools without assistance
Working knowledge of most machine shop equipment including manual/CNC equipment
Knowledge of CAD systems
