Your Role
As an Industrial Electrical Specialist, you'll tackle the vital task of ensuring our facilities are electrically sound, diagnosing issues with precision and installing state-of-the-art equipment. Are you ready to join this dynamic field?
Essential Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and PLC anomalies in plant machinery
- Engage in essential and emergency maintenance, available for diverse shift hours
- Assist in project-specific installations and deployments
- Quickly troubleshoot equipment, minimizing disruption to production
- Adhere to comprehensive safety standards
- Supervise inventory of essential spare parts, identifying procurement needs
- Contribute to plant safety initiatives and corrective actions
- Deliver regular safety update reports to management
- Participate in scheduled plant meetings to share insights and developments
- Understand and comply with company protocols
- Communicate effectively across departments to resolve issues
- Interpret technical documents and use appropriate tools for problem-solving
- Complete various other tasks, as needed
Qualifications:
- A Vermont Journeyman License at a minimum; Master’s is advantageous
- Do you have a high school diploma? A degree can propel you further!
- Experience with HMI and Allen Bradley systems preferred, training provided
- Background in heavy industry electrical systems is crucial
- Over two years in electrical maintenance work required
- Physical stamina to manage long hours and heavy lifting
