Job Title: Epic Professional Billing Analyst

Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Overview

Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) is seeking Epic Professional Billing Analysts to support the implementation and maintenance of the Epic Professional Billing module. This role requires a certified Epic professional with experience in system configuration, workflow design, and supporting end-users. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the seamless operation of billing processes within the Epic system.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain the Epic Professional Billing module (trigger/modify charges, benefit engine).
• Build, test, and present system changes to end-users, ensuring smooth production migration.
• Provide support during Epic upgrades, implementations, and daily operations.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and external vendors to enhance system performance.
• Offer on-call support and work flexible hours during major system changes.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and Epic Professional Billing certification.
• Experience with charge router, work queue configuration, and external collection workflows.
• Strong communication, project management, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, Visio).
• Flexibility for extended work hours during implementations.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years in a revenue cycle or healthcare IT environment.
• Experience with Epic system integration and workflow design.
