About the Role:
The Clinical Informatics Analyst will play a key role in implementing, configuring, and managing the VADOC’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This position is critical to ensuring healthcare workflows meet operational standards and user requirements while maintaining compliance with project management and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Configure and implement EHR solutions to meet business and clinical needs.
- Document workflows and processes based on healthcare industry standards.
- Provide technical training and support to healthcare staff as needed.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper configuration and compliance.
- Assist in creating software design documents and related technical documentation.
Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience with EHR systems and configuration (specific vendor experience is not mandatory).
- Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) principles.
- Strong technical documentation and workflow analysis skills.
- Ability to provide technical training and support in healthcare settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience in healthcare, business administration, or electronic healthcare technology is highly desirable.
