A Healthcare Organization that provides a wide range of post-acute and long-term care services, primarily focused on helping individuals transition smoothly through different levels of care as their health needs change is interested in hiring a Insurance Benefit and Authorization Manager to their Insurance Team in Woods Cross! The team is looking for candidates with experience within the Healthcare Field in Leadership positions

Description

• Conducts insurance verification and eligibility for services
• Assists in obtaining or validating pre-certification and authorizations.
• Make patients fully aware of financial obligations and eligibility
• Develops and maintains a working knowledge of current Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance regulations
• Assists with problem resolution on claims, billing, and eligibility issues with carriers
• Answer incoming phone calls from clinics to verify coverage and copays in a courteous manner.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Leadership or Managing a Team
• Familiar with a basic understanding of medical ICD-9 codes and CPT medical billing codes
• Comprehensive knowledge of homecare, hospice, and skilled nursing reimbursement guidelines
• Previous experience related to insurance authorization, billing and rate negotiation preferred
• Familiar with a basic understanding of medical ICD-9 codes and CPT medical billing codes

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
