Patient Service Coordinator
*Schedule: *Monday - Friday
*Shift*: 8 am - 5 pm
*4 Month Contract to Hire* (Long term & Permanent position)
*Pay Rate*: $18-20/HR *Depending on experience*

We are excited to announce that we are immediately hiring a Patient Service Coordinator to join our client's dynamic team in Columbia, MD. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth and efficient patient services throughout the office. As a Patient Service Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients,
playing a crucial role in the largest privately held physician's office in the state of Maryland. This position will be a 4-month Contract to Hire, providing a foot in the door with a great organization and solidifying a permanent, stable, and growing career.

*Job Description*:
* Greet guests upon arrival and gather patient information such as demographics, insurance, and emergency contact information
* Healthcare administrative functions such as checking patients in and out, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, etc.
* Additional duties may include health center functions such as co-payments, answering phones, assisting family members, and conducting research for prior medical records
*Job Qualifications*:
*1-2 Years of previous healthcare front
desk/customer service experience
* MUST have 6 months - 1 year of EMR experience (EPIC, Cerner, Athena, MediTech, etc.)
* Looking for compassionate and caring candidates
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
