Referral Coordinator

Job Description

The Referral Specialist is responsible for obtaining referrals from each patient’s primary care provider (PCP) for all scheduled visits, as well as verifying current insurance coverage.

Primary Responsibilities

• Obtain referrals for office visits across all clinic locations.
• Coordinate and schedule all incoming referrals.
• Routinely review provider schedules to identify any add‑on appointments requiring referrals.
• Serve as a representative to referring physician offices, insurance carriers, and patients.
• Communicate with the billing department as needed regarding referral or insurance-related issues.
• Collaborate with the Patient Services Representative (PSR) team to ensure all referrals are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Additional Qualifications

Must Have:

• Minimum 1 year of face‑to‑face customer service (retail, administrative, front office, or similar)

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
