Required Responsibilities
- Drive technical design work based on functional design
- Align technical design with overall BES architecture
- Ability to interpret and validate functional specifications
- Familiarity with several systems architectures
- Experience with documenting how technology can support a business process
- Develop detailed technical design specifications for development
- Identify, evaluate and develop system/technical requirements that meet functional needs
o Work with Business Analysts and Product Owners to address functional design gaps
o Recommend functional design adjustments to optimize development velocity
o Develop plans, rules, approach, formulas and other design solutions for BES
o Provide automated solutions consistent with the overall BES architecture
o Ability to understand business process issues and communicate technical solutions to client, architect, and developers.
o Create technical design documents, process guidelines, templates to guide development
o Develop technical design deliverables
o Work with QA to implement test plans to ensure developed solutions meet functional and technical designs.
- Develop database designs in alignment with overall BES database design
o Define technical requirements and design for data flows within the BES components
o Reconcile data across different functional components
o Harmonize database design and flows across BES components
- Facilitate technical design with Architect, business analysts and business owners
o Identify areas for reusable modular development
o Conduct data review, development demos
o Advise on process improvements
o Conduct reviews for technical designs with developers
- Documentation
o Partner with development team to deliver technical documentation

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- currently there are approx 6 SA's on the team.
May work remote and sit anywhere in the US (they work with the Architects and Developers who are all on the East Coast)
Will be working with Microservices design patterns (using SpringBoot Framework)
Must be able to understand programming, queries and databases (an example: as long as they know how to write code, that's good. Preferable Java, experience with SQL is good).
Must be able to write technical specifications by looking at the functional design
Must be able to work Hawaii Standard Time hours (soon it will be 5 hours behind EST)
Nice to have: IES (Integrated Eligibility Systems) or DHHS experience- but not required
