Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Performs maintenance and construction work as required and assistance for other trades within TVCS Facilities Operations, specifically plumbing, metal work, and construction.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs maintenance repairs and replaces various plumbing fixtures and equipment. Assists in performing standardized preventative maintenance and repair of main water supply system (including shut-off valve and sprinkler lines) for TVC. Participates in the maintenance of rolling stock (casters, flats, and push carts); replaces axles as required. Unclogs water drains, lines, and sinks.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
5 Years Maintenance and plumbing experience
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Reports to Foreman Construction & Maintenance.
Knowledge & skill requirements:
Welding certification, Hydraulic knowledge
EQUIPMENT UTILIZED:
Welding (gas, arc, etc.), snake machine, pipe machine, drill press, saw electric drills, electric saw, hand tools.
Salary : $27 - $37
