Junior Developer

Position Summary:

This position will support and collaborate on all TelNet OSS, BSS and application tools which define the business operations of TelNet Worldwide and information technology. The Developer will have the knowledge and experience to support current applications and the ability to develop with the trends of technology. The ideal candidate will be an excellent problem solver and eager to learn.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for new development, production support, analysis and documentation of TelNet Worldwide applications, Overseeing the OSS, BSS and tools designed to support the overall operations of the company.
• Work within TelNet’s development process to enhance and support Operational and Billing Support Systems
• Analyze requirements within the IT and business users process to support and deliver functionality
• Conduct system analysis, support and development for TelNet systems as assigned
• Analyze, design, and coordinate the development and testing of software systems to form a basis for the solution of information processing problems
• Responsible for analysis of current applications and processes to improve performance and productivity
• Responsible for development and enhancement of new and existing programs, analyzes current programs and processes
• Responsible for code documentation, merging, and branching in a multi-developer environment using github and Jira
• Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff
• Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed

• .NET Core 2.0-3.1
• C#
• MS SQLServer
• N-tier architecture
• MVC / MVVM patterns
• WCF / Web API / Web Services
• Familiarity with the following protocols: SIP, TCP/IP, SS7, PRI
• Vision, speech and the understanding of and ability to communication in English

Non-Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• AngularJS
• ReactJS
• JQuery
• Ability to succeed outside a micro managed team

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
