This position will be based in our HQ located in Ashburn, VA.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting the security engineering team, providing technical direction, and serving as the ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Identify and mitigate development and technical risks by providing research, design ideas, ServiceNow best practices, and actual contributions to the development
- Design and update Service Portal front end components
- Interface with executive stakeholders to align ServiceNow solutions with business goals and emerging trends.
- Lead the integration of new/updated modules, store applications, integrations, and spokes.
- Develop technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform that align with ITIL, ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB best practices.
- Work on ticketing incidents, including creating, changing, and modifying workflows and configuring incident routing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead the implementation of ServiceNow solutions that meet designed requirements and industry best practices.
- Assist in the design and integration of ServiceNow with other systems to create seamless end-to-end processes.
- Oversee development and data management for integrations between ServiceNow Platform and other systems like Active Directory.
- Possess expert knowledge and experience in ServiceNow
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience (6 years)
- 5 years of experience with Service-Now
- 5 years of experience with JavaScript
- ServiceNow certifications (System Administration, Application Development, Implementation) are a plus.
- Experience ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, ELA,
- ServiceNow workflow script
- Data Migration, Integration Management experience
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are required
- A professional attitude regarding attention to detail and customer service
- Excellent organizational skills are required
