Job description
The TEC Sales Order Coordinator ensures customer loyalty by providing pleasant, reliable service in a fast paced, high-volume environment. Building partnerships with our HVAC contractor base is how TEC separates itself from other distributors.
Essentially Duties and Responsibilities
- Order entry & immediate processing of Ecommerce orders
- Logistic planning for daily deliveries
- Field calls from contractor/customer base from our Call Center requesting information, product selection or order placement
- Monitoring orders entered and maintaining backlog
- High volume professional email correspondence and order confirmations
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- High School Diploma and/or at least 2 years of administrative, coordination, or order processing experience exceptional customer service
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
- Great attention to details and problem-solving abilities
- Phenomenal teammate who is flexible and adaptable
- A self-starter with strong work ethic with strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects while keeping details correct
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Associates Degree and/or at least 5 years of administrative, coordination, or order management experience.
Knowledge of HVAC, distribution, and/or procurement a plus
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
General office environment
Requires seating for extended amounts of time, manual dexterity for working with computer keyboards.
Job Location
Tinley Park, IL
Full Time - up to 1 night shift per week (9 :00am to 6:00pm), 1 Saturday shift once every 8 weeks (8:00am to 12:00pm)
Salary Expectations
Starting pay rate based on experience
Full time hourly with potential bonus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
