What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT TECHNOLOGIST (FT; OVERNIGHT) - Temple Health/Women & Families Center position at Temple Health – Temple University Health System?
Performs CT procedures following the protocols established by the referring physicians or Radiologists. Operates CT scanner to produce cross sectional anatomical images of consistent optimal quality. Operates CT equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, following established safety guidelines.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Non Degree Program : Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program. (Required)
Experience
General Experience and knowledge of cross sectional anatomy (Required)
General Experience As a CT Scan Technologist (Preferred)
License/Certifications
RT(R) - Reg Technologist (R) (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Preferred)
RT(R(CT) - Reg Technologist (R) (CT) (Preferred)
