Build the fiber optic system components.
o Build the lighting fixtures.
o Test the components and systems.
o Assist in the development and fabrication of new illuminators, lamp reflectors, luminaires, and other non-imaging devices.
o Assist in the performance of different light sources including metal halides, , and lasers.
o Provide support in the development of the technical documentation.
Deliverable data pertaining to the illumination systems.
o Assist with testing, qualification, installation, and system integration at the test facility and at the customer site
o Assist with the programming, installation, and commissioning of remote fiber optic distributed sensing systems for the detection of gases and temperature.
