Pay Range: $24.95
What You'll Do:
- Tends one or more automatic, multiple needle sewing machines (quilters) that quilt layers of materials used to make quilted panels or borders.
- Handle up to five different rolls of material, loading them into a quilting machine.
- Sew layers together, applying design stitch.
- May cut full width quilted material to size using a cutting wheel or slit to width after stitching
- May be responsible for ensuring production materials are sorted, verified and supplied to appropriate stations or
- May collaborate with a team to achieve organizational goals.
- May be responsible for correctly labeling and packing finished goods.
- Maintain and sustain a clean area/environment.
- Perform quality inspections at every step in the process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements:
- Be able to lift 50-80 pounds.
- Detail-oriented to ensure high quality and no missed stitches.
- Ability to work in a standing position for a minimum 8 hours or more per shift.
- Frequent walking, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast paced, high-volume manufacturing
- Excellent attendance—must be reliable and punctual.
- Must be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
