Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various building components using hand tools and power tools
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans
- Perform framing work including metal stud framing, wood framing, and concrete forming
- Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, siding, trim, and flooring with precision
- Conduct restoration tasks including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration
- Assist with roofing installation, siding replacement, masonry work, and electrical or plumbing rough-ins as needed
- Support fabrication activities including rebar installation, metal working, and assembly of structural components
- Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols on construction sites
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as caulking, tile laying, drywall finishing, and fixture installation
- Follow safety guidelines at all times while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of general carpentry practices
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting schematics or technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, framing carpentry, cabinetry installation, and door hanging
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
- Experience in restoration industry work such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is desirable
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; experience with CNC or fabrication equipment is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on-site
- Background in roofing, siding installation or masonry is beneficial but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of electrical or plumbing rough-ins can be helpful for supporting project needs
