TVFCU desires to recruit talented service professionals who embody our overall values and are passionate about the work they do for our membership.   An individual in a Mortgage Loan Processor position will provide friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all members, vendors, and associates in a timely manner.  An individual in this role can expect to process member loan files within expected turn times.  Additionally, this individual can expect to prepare files for submission to underwriting and closing, within expected turn times.  The Mortgage Loan Processor position will also strive to provide exceptional member service by:

• Contributing to the development and refinement of the Credit Union’s lending vision and strategy, working in a team environment focused on member service and closing quality loans within expected turn times.
• Processing residential mortgage loans in a manner consistent with Credit Union policy and procedures as well as adhering to all regulatory requirements.
• Having a working knowledge of all local, state and federal regulations related to real estate lending.
• Obtaining and reviewing required loan documentation and submitting loan packages to underwriting for approval.
• Verifying that all underwriting conditions are received and cleared by underwriting, and prepares the file for submission to the closing department.
• Effectively communicating with loan originators, buyers, sellers, third-party vendors, and real estate agents as needed.
• Ensuring members closing dates are met.

Qualifications

Skills and Other Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and a minimum 2 years of mortgage processing or lending experience
• Must be accurate, detail oriented, and organized
• Thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics, including but not limited to adherence to all State and Federal regulations
• Must be comfortable with substantial personal contact with others inside and/or outside of TVFCU for purposes of information sharing, relationship building, soliciting of cooperation, etc.
• Must be able to be bonded and meet Safe Act Requirements, including but not limited to registered or licensed via the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS)
