Job OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate, engaging Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide part-time, one-on-one support to a young adult male in his home and community. This role focuses on personal care, movement and wellness, seizure awareness and response. Schedule:7:00 AM – 3:00 PMMondays and every other weekendResponsibilitiesProvide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a respectful, person-centered mannerProvide seizure care, including monitoring, following established protocols, and ensuring safetyEngage actively with him throughout the day, not just during care tasksAccompany and support him in the community (errands, activities, social outings)Help build and strengthen community connections and natural supportsEncourage independence, dignity, and choiceCommunicate clearly and appropriately with family regarding routines, health, and needsQualificationsCurrent CNA certification a plus!Experience with seizure care or willingness to be trainedValid driver’s license and personal vehicle in good working order (required)Comfortable with supporting community-based activitiesExperience with in-home care or individuals with disabilities preferred
