Position Summary

The Project Manager II is responsible to provide effective leadership by managing all aspects of a project includung, quality, timeliness, and profitability.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Duties)

  • Own and manage all aspects of projects, schedules, budgets, profitability, procedures, etc. through comprehensive project completion working in conjunction with team of project managers.
  • Execution of project plan, estimates, resource and material requirements for assigned projects.
  • Provide overall support for Project Managers
  • Lead negotiations within group
  • Identify and handle all field issues.
  • Follow up on all PO deliveries, tracking shipments, and/or missing items.
  • Oversee all field crew and sub-contractors to ensure adherence to quality and project timelines.
  • Directing assigned projects and taking appropriate actions to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and with defined resources.
  • Identify, procure, process, and review budget, all required permits, and inspections.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, submittal logs, etc. and prepare and present project status reports.
  • Monitor, process and verify all field crew pay requests.
  • Responsible for providing effective communication internally and externally regarding project status and reporting.
  • Manages the overall site safety program as required, providing safety orientation to new employees and enforcing worker’s compliance with company standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
  • Identifies and corrects project issues in a timely and cost-effective manner through diligent oversight.
  • Manage conflict resolution as needed.
  • Provide high level on customer service to customers/vendors/subcontractors.
  • Manage project through comprehensive completion and close out document delivery.

Education / Experience (an equivalent combination of education and/or experience)

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • 3 Years of Experience in Project Management
  • 3 Years of Experience in Construction

Technical Skills

Familiarity of the Microsoft Office Suite, Windows, iOS, Google Earth, blueprints, Epicor, Salesforce, track, and record expenses associated with each installation phase, keep accurate records of labor hours, and submit them to company management in a timely fashion.

Licenses / Certifications

PMP Preferred

Work Conditions

  • Environment: Corporate office with defined in-office requirements and hybrid flexibility
  • Travel: Less than 10%
