We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team at our Elgin, Illinois location.
This is a full-time position. Work hours during normal shifts is 7:00am-3:30pm there may be overtime when the business needs the coverage
- Machine parts to print using vertical CNCs and or CNC lathes Promote teamwork.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Promote and ensure safe working practices and a healthy work environment.
- Report all maintenance issues in writing to the appropriate Department Supervisor and Operations Managers.
- Any other duties that me be assigned by department manager.
- At least 3 years of CNC mill experience Understanding of M and G code
- Basic computer skills Able to work with and give feedback to department supervisors to resolve issues on the shop floor.
- Ability to adapt to changing workloads
- Must be organized and self-motivated.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong decision-making skills Strong math skills.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements: Able to lift at 25 lbs.
- Experience with Fanuc controls Programing experience.
