What To Expect
We are seeking an experienced MEP Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in designing dry and wet mechanical systems, with experience in industrial greenfield and brownfield projects.
What You'll Do
Develop and produce accurate MEP layouts and 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD Assist in the design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems in accordance with applicable codes and project requirements Coordinate MEP system layouts with architectural and structural components Use Revizto or similar tools for clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination Generate construction drawings, equipment schedules, riser diagrams, and details Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and model updates Assist in preparing submittals, redlines, and record drawings Lead 3D model reviews with cross discipline and executive level stakeholders
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience CAD/BIM certifications or coursework preferred Professional Engineer (PE) license required 4-7 years of experience in MEP drafting and design for building systems Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required Familiarity with Revizto, Navisworks, or other BIM coordination tools is a plus Working knowledge of ASHRAE, NEC, IPC, or other relevant building codes and design standards
