What You'll Do
Design, develop, and optimize tooling and dies to meet engineering requirements Address complex engineering challenges by applying sound technical principles and innovative approaches Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure tooling solutions meet functional and operational goals Identify opportunities to enhance tooling performance, reduce costs, and improve efficiency in engineering and manufacturing processes Support project timelines and deliverables, ensuring smooth integration of tooling into broader engineering efforts Work with tooling vendors to ensure designs are executed to specification, meet quality expectations, and are delivered on time Provide technical support during the implementation and operational phases, addressing tooling-related issues and ensuring reliable performance
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years in mechanical or tooling engineering, with a strong focus on tooling and die design in high-volume or complex engineering environments Expertise in tooling and die design, including material selection, hardening, and coating Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA) Proven ability to analyze and resolve engineering challenges effectively and efficiently Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well within diverse teams and convey technical information clearly Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities and projects
