What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Human Resources position at Teton Valley Hospital?
The Human Resources Director coordinates the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff; reports to the CEO; and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues related to organizational development, compliance, compensation, benefit administration, employee safety and other performance management or operational improvement systems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration/Human Resource Management or equivalent related work experience in specific education and field
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Good interpersonal skills including, problem solving skills and ability to handle confrontation
- Intermediate knowledge in computer use; including work processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent organizational and accuracy skills with attention to fine details
- Maintains and follows guidelines set for standards of practice in quality patient care, and infection control practices as required by state, federal, and facility standards.
- Must be able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions
- Knowledge of employment labor laws and HR policies
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 5 years of specific experience working in a healthcare environment
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification or Equivalent
- CPR/BLS Healthcare Certification
- Additional languages Spanish Preferred
