About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team! In this dual role, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities while also assisting with basic Human Resources (HR) functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, and skilled in multitasking, with a strong interest in both administrative and HR processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Duties :
- Manage and maintain schedules, calendars, and appointments for team members.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements, including booking flights and accommodations and preparing itineraries.
- Handle office correspondence, including email, phone calls, and mail distribution.
- Prepare and edit reports, memos, and other documents.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist in office supply management, including ordering and inventory.
HR Support Duties :
Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparation of orientation materials and coordination of first-day activities.Help organize employee engagement activities such as team-building events, training sessions, or wellness programs.Assist in posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.Coordinate exit processes for departing employees, including retrieval of company property.Provide general support for HR projects and initiatives as needed.Skills and Abilities
Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Familiarity with HR software (e.g., HRIS) is a bonus.Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.Attributes
