What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager - Industrial Services position at Texas Compression, LLC?
Since 2016, Texas Compression has safely served the oil & gas, power generation, and terminal markets nationwide from Houston. We are seeking an Industrial Services Manager to lead and expand this division.
Industrial Services - Required Areas of Experience
- Online Leak Repair and Composite Repair
- Concrete Repair and Rehabilitation
- Welding Structural Steel and Process Piping
- Abrasive Blasting and Coating
The ideal candidate would perform the following tasks:
- Project / Bid Walks.
- Project Estimation.
- Material Sourcing and Procurement.
- Scheduling and Logistics (Personnel, Equipment and Material).
- Project Management and/or Field Supervision as needed.
- Effectively manage and track out-of-scope work and change orders.
- Oversee document control for field services ensuring accuracy and completion.
- Manage operational and project costs for this division and evaluate cost saving methods.
- Oversee recruiting, training and employee development.
- Oversee safety training, compliance and reporting.
- Mitigate safety risk and exposure as well as contingency planning.
- Communicate with internal and external contacts to maintain relationships.
- Assist in establishing processes and procedures to streamline daily operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for work performed.
- Implement quality control programs to ensure products and services exceed expectations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining the highest level of quality and service.
- Assess the market demand to plan and assess the needs and resources for upcoming projects.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing to implement business strategies.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma is required. College degree is preferred.
- 10 years relevant industry experience is required.
- Ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must have a valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation and insurance.
- Must pass drug, alcohol and background screen.
- Must have TWIC Card and Safety Essentials. OSHA 10/30 Optional.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Maintain detailed records, reports, and other related documentation.
- Proficient with Windows-based systems, Office and Cloud-Based Solutions.
