Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including root canal therapy, fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient practice operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices.
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Familiarity with Epic for managing patient records is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
