Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, ensuring their oral health and well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, patient assessment, and the ability to perform various dental procedures. The Dentist will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals to deliver high-quality care in a friendly and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including root canal therapy, fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient practice operations.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and general dentistry practices.
• Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic for managing patient records is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care while adhering to ethical standards.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $144,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
