Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent
  
  

or GED.

2, Experience in warehouse operations, inventory and stock control,

and supply methods and procedures preferred.

• Experience in the operation and maintenance of heavy and light
  
  

equipment preferred.

• Experience in the operation and maintenance of tractor-trailer rigs
  
  

preferred.

• Correctional custody or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• Valid CDL Medical Examiner's certification statement issued within
  
  

the last two years.

• Successful completion of the current Texas Department of Criminal Justice
  
  

freight transportation road test. Road test will be scheduled after

the interview process.

• Must be registered with the U.S. Department of Transportation
  
  

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Drug and Alcohol

Clearinghouse.

Must maintain valid license and certification for continued employment

• The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) will
  
  

be $4,239.83.**
