- Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by
Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of
Education (USDE). Major course work in Criminal Justice,

- Four years full-time, wage-earning criminal justice, criminal
- Two years full-time, wage-earning experience in the supervision
- Parole officer experience preferred.
- Computer operations experience preferred.
- Technical review or program evaluation experience preferred.
- Teaching, training, or staff development experience preferred.
- Must meet and maintain Texas Risk Assessment System (TRAS) access
- Must have a valid state driver license.
- Must have or be able to obtain a certificate of course completion
