Fitness Director Job Summary
To oversee and manage Texas FITT Personal Membership Sales department operations in Arlington, TX!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Effectively manage Texas FITT Membership Sales operations.
- Achieve budget and financial goals for the club as discussed and decided upon in conjunction with senior management.
- Promote, maintain and exemplify the Texas FITT brand, both among health club members and among company staff.
- Ensure that Texas FITT policies and procedures are properly disseminated and followed.
- Handle customer service issues that may arise with company clients in the health club.
- Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with health club owners/staff.
- Competently handle all human resource-related issues at the club level, including but not limited to, hiring/firing of Sales staff; developing staff for promotion; demoting staff where appropriate; delivering corporate memos, addendums and internal market changes to staff; preparing, delivering and returning disciplinary action paperwork; ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
- Direct and manage the work of all sales staff and other company employees assigned to the health club.
- Sell memberships / personal training to clients, and explain terms of personal training services agreement (where needed)
- Lead and/or attend all staff meetings as required.
Secondary Duties
- Provide corporate with helpful information about how to improve its business in the health club/market.
- Perform any other duties as senior management may assign, from time to time.

- Education: High school diploma required; college diploma highly preferred.
- Skills/Qualifications: CPR/AED/First Aid certification; Proficient in sales, leadership experience, interview skills, organization.
