What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Patient Portal Support Associate position at Texas Health Care PLCC?
POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Portal Support Associate will provide support for patients that have login, password reset and/or enrollment questions. The Support Associate will be responsible for answering incoming portal line calls, creating and reviewing incoming tickets as well as any other tasks assigned by management.
Primary Job Duties:
- Answer Incoming Calls
- Create and Review incoming tickets
- Provide support to patients that call with issues related to their patient portal account
- Clinical Message processing
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two to three years of customer service experience
- Basic computer skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to achieve results with minimal supervision
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced and changing work environment
- Highly self-motivated
- Ability to prioritize appropriately
- Ability to develop skills to resolve moderately
- Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to interact positively and positively with a variety of people
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations
