Medical Assistant
Are you interested in joining a dynamic and growing clinic to fill a Triage Medical Assistant position? Our Triage team in looking for a Medical Assistant that is eager to learn the ways of our growing Neurology practice.
Requirements:
At least 1 years Medical Assistant / triage medical assistant experience preferred
Proficient typing skills and computer knowledge
Ability to learn computer-based medical systems and protocols quickly
Effective oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual a plus
Medical terminology a must
EMR experience preferred (EClinical Works)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer inbound telephone calls to provide assistance to patients for multiple providers in multiple locations.
Provide excellent customer service
Place outbound calls daily
Complete medication prior authorizations
Demonstrate proficient computer skills.
Maintains and supports patient's rights to care, privacy, and respect.
Communicates effectively with patients, providers, and coworkers.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
