What are the responsibilities and job description for the Relief Pharmacist position at Texas Tech Univ Health Sciences Ctr?
This position is primarily responsible for compounding and dispensing medications to fill outpatient prescriptions written by physicians, dentists, and other qualified personnel, and for ensuring control of medications and pharmaceuticals within the Pharmacy. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Pharmacist.This is a PART-TIME, PRN position.
The pharmacist provides outpatient prescriptions and investigational drug services.Graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy, and certification by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
One year of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
