Description

Texell, named one of the BEST credit unions to work for in the NATION by the Credit Union Journal, is seeking a Full Time Teller to work 35 hours per week. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a glass half-full attitude, then this position might just be for you!

We're looking for someone who:

• Has open availability to work all shifts needed during the week and every other Sat.
• Can stand on their feet for most of their shifts, as well as adhere to a professional business dress code to include closed-toe dress shoes.
• Has been with their employer(s) two or more years. Job loyalty is important to us.
• Has previous customer service and cash handling experience. Banking experience is a plus!
• Is 18 and has earned a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Is comfortable with sales and referring products and services that will benefit our members. You will be expected to meet monthly goals and could earn incentives for doing so.
• Maintains a positive and energetic attitude and a passion for helping people.
• Places a high level of attention to detail and is committed to member confidentiality.
• Can work comfortably with Microsoft 365 products such as Teams, Word, and Excel
• Has patience, demonstrates empathy, and can manage emotions. We never know what the person in front of us might be going through. Every member interaction is a chance to provide WOW! service.

As a Teller, you will:

• Give our members the WOW! service they deserve.
• Perform financial transactions with 100% accuracy. Duties include check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, cash advances, and much more.
• Follow all credit union security procedures and maintain member confidentiality.
• Work with high level attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Educate our members on Texell's products and services. It is our responsibility to inform our members on all the great things Texell has to offer! In doing so, you could earn monthly incentives.
• Perform additional functions according to credit needs during down time such as calling members and telling them about our current promotions, rates, and more!
