- Assist Project Superintendent with project staffing / scheduling and daily task delegation
Responsibilities by Function: Project Management
- Take ownership and manage all technical aspects of project installations with minimal oversight.
- Review plans, specifications, submittal and SOW to maintain complete understanding of all aspects of each project.
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency during installations.
- Ensure correct equipment type and quantities have been received and checked out based on project documents.
- Provide Daily Progress Reports to Project Superintendent as directed, including detailed project progress and issues.
- Provide solutions and alternatives to project issues and challenges where possible.
- Supervise and coach team members for installation job duties while in the field.
- Coordinate with Project Superintendent on proper maintenance of company vehicles and any TFE owned assets.
- Ensure specifications, drawing details and all project requirements are adhered to.
- Coordinate work with other onsite trades to ensure project efficiency and timeline of our work.
- Maintain product knowledge on all relevant equipment, including installation best practices.
- Ensure installations meet both TFE standards and customer expectations.
- Understand and communicate information professionally and effectively to Superintendent, GC and/or customers.
- Assist Project Superintendent to ensure projects are completed within budget and time constraints.

The role of the A/V Tech III is to organize, motivate and direct Integration Services Group AV Field Personnel in support of Projects of various size and complexity. This is a working field position. He/She will report directly to the AV Project Superintendent, and is responsible for the performance, efficiency and effectiveness of the day-to-day tasks required to progress Projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Direct supervision of day-today tasks on A/V Project or projects
Qualifications

- Maintain thorough understanding of and adherence to TFE administrative policies and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of Industry Standards and Best Practices, Local Codes, and OSHA requirements.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with G/Cs as well as other trades personnel.
- Assist in TFE cost control by effectively managing inventory, tools and time.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 4 Years verifiable experience in A/V Installations, plus knowledge of design and industry standards.
- Basic computer skills: working knowledge in Excel, Outlook and other industry related programs.
- Ability to load programs to DSP and control platforms such as Biamp, BSS, Crestron, Extron
- CTS, Crestron, Extron certs. Working toward CTS-I
- Ability to think and work independently and meet deadlines.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to perform physical duties in the field including lifting, climbing ladders and working machinery.
- Requires occasional travel and flexible schedule with seasonal extended hours and variable shifts.
- Proficient in understanding blueprints, drawings, schematics and diagrams.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
