TFE is currently seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to support work for the Legacy Management Support (LMS) contract in support of the Department of Energy’s Office of Legacy Management (LM) (the client) mission to fulfill post-closure responsibilities at 100 sites across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
The Senior Administrative Assistant performs a variety of business-related assignments in program and project management and provides administrative support for one or more technical managers performing specialized and routine administrative activities. May lead on more complex assignments and mentor’s junior staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with developing, tracking, and submitting contract deliverables for timely submittals.
- Assist/track routine letters/emails.
- Interface with the client on a regular basis.
- Prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Takes meeting notes for meetings including the Department of Energy’s Office of Legacy Management (LM) client and technical managers as requested.
- Schedules meetings with the LM client, arranging Tele-Conference meeting logistics.
- Files records in Content Manager per established processes.
- Manage documents and coordinate with Document Management.
- Assists with procedure development and revisions as requested.
- Manages calendars/emails as requested.
- Configures and manages SharePoint sites.
- Procurement support as requested. Purchasing Card use and reconciliation.
- Leads innovation and improvements within the group/groups they support.
- Assists in composing messages and coordinates with Internal Communications.
- Serves as backup for National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) invoices and disposal notices.
- Serves as backup in support of the Information Technology team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or vocational/technical school diploma and 12 years of job related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 20 years of relevant experience
Licenses Valid Driver’s License
Certifications No Professional Certification Required
CITIZENSHIP:
United States Citizenship required

CORE HOURS:
Monday thru Friday 7am to 5 pm

Physical Activities:
