We are looking for a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor to add to our team! All you need is a bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling/psychology, or behavioral science related field with a Kansas Substance Abuse certification. You must be credentialed to provide billable substance use services. Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), Licensed Master’s Additions Counselor (LMAC), or Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) to be eligible to provide billable services. We will teach you the rest!
A Day in The Life as a Substance Abuse Counselor
As a treatment counselor, you will assess both adults and children in terms of addiction treatment and determine what level of care they need. You will also provide group treatment for adults and teens throughout the week. This is a very rewarding position to be able to help parents work through their addiction issues while working to get their children back. Make your own schedule, work hybrid, and be a part of a great team!
