What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular Tech position at tgmctest?
Performs patient care and technical cath lab duties, operates all cardiovascular diagnostic equipment, and does routine calculations, all under the supervision of senior technologist. Prepares rooms, equipment and patients for catheterization, assists physicians and other staff as required, and maintains lab readiness and cleanliness.
Qualifications : RT® Radiologic Technologist (Radiography) Licensure : La. State Board of Radiology & AART; or Registered Certified Cardiopulmonary Technologist, Licensed by La. State Board of Medical Examiner and National board of Respiratory Care. Two or more years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab with experience in panning coronary arteries preferred Equipment and Tool Experience : Toshiba cardiac cath x-ray equipment. Mckesson cath lab system (Horizon cardiology). Certification in ACLS
