APQP COORDINATOR
JOB SUMMARY:
TH Plastics, Inc., a custom injection molder serving the appliance and automotive industries, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the following position in our Mendon, Michigan molding division.
JOB OVERVIEW: Establish and maintain PPAP/APQP core tools (PPAP, FMEA, MSA Control Plans, Process flow chart, capability study, gauge R&R along with document control).
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years’ experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles
- Must be self-motivated, strong attention to detail, work well independently and have excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to work with all members of the team
- Familiar with IQMS
- Knowledge of technical aspects of manufacturing and engineering
- Knowledge and understanding of quality control standards and government compliance
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with document control
- Create control plans, process flows and PFMEA
- Track deviations
- Submit first piece and PPAP sample documents to customer for production approval
- Verify SAP and blanket PO’s are current and match approved revision
- Establish and maintain PPAP/APQP core tools
- Responsible for setting up meetings to create and develop control plans, process flows and PFME
- Serve as liaison between our company’s project engineering and customers to identify production approval issues and come up with solutions
