Job Overview
ThayerMahan, Inc is seeking a principal research scientist in acoustics and signal processing at its Lexington, MA or Groton, CT. Due to our work with the U.S. Government, this role legally requires that you are a U.S. citizen.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a PhD degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or physics, preferably with 5-10 years of post-graduate experience. At the principal scientist level, the qualifications include :
- A broad theoretical foundation combined with some experimental / data analysis experience.
- The ability to develop and lead independent research initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
